Uncontested Election Means No Polling on May 4

The May 2023 Town Council Election was uncontested. This means that fewer candidates stepped forward for election than there are seats on the Council. It also means that no polling will take place on 4 May this year. There will be seven Town Councillors from May 2023. There are two vacancies for co-option if any member of the community wishes to join the Council. For more information see Westmorland and Furness Council
