Contract to Clean and Maintain the Public Conveniences in Grange-over-Sands
Grange-over-Sands Town Council is inviting expressions of interest from contractors to clean and maintain the public conveniences commencing on 1 April 2027 for a period of two years.

May 24th - Bay Big Band
June 7th - Burneside Brass
June 21st - Sedbergh Town Band
July 12th - The Growing Singers and Flutes & Co*
August 2nd - Kirkby Lonsdale Brass Band
August 30th - Milnthorpe Steel Band
*Wet weather venue St. Paul's Church, LA11 6BD
Free entry. All performances start at 2pm.
Performances will be held at Park Road Gardens Bandstand, Grange-over-Sands, LA11 7HQ.
The Victoria Hall will be the wet weather venue. Visitors will be informed which venue will be used via Facebook and in-person at the bandstand. The decision will be made on the day.
Drinks and ice-creams will be available at both venues.

The Grange Town Council office will be closed from Tuesday 23 December until Monday 5 January 2026. If you need to contact the Town Council urgently during this time, please contact one of the Town Councillors and they will get hold of a member of staff. The Councillors' contact details are all listed on this site under 'Town Council'.
We know that the Prom loos are closed, this is because the water supply to the Prom stopped suddenly on 19 December. We are working closely with Westmorland and Furness Council (who own the Prom and manage the water supply) to get this sorted out as soon as possible.
Grange-over-Sands Recreation Ground
Grange-over-Sands Town Council is inviting experienced contractors to tender for grounds maintenance work at the Recreation Ground on the Promenade.
Contractors can apply for the full contract or selected elements, including an optional separate tender for tall hedge and boundary work.
Work includes:
Grass cutting, sweeping and weed control.
Maintenance of putting greens, crazy golf area, tennis courts, skate park, MUGA and street workout area.
Deadline for quotes: 30 January 2026
Contract starts: 30 March 2026
