Grange Town Council is responsible for the following, scroll down the page or click on each button below to find out more:
Victoria Hall
The Victoria Hall provides a venue for theatre and opera productions, conferences, flower and dance shows, auctions, hearings, meetings, consultations and training events.
The Hall holds an alcohol license and is available to hire for private functions, parties, weddings and events.
Public Toilets
The Town Council provides three blocks of public loos.
All the facilities accept contactless payment only.
Where they are:
- On the Promenade opposite the Lido (opposite end to the station).
- In the Ornamental Gardens.
- At Church Hill.
The 40p entry charge contributes towards the cleaning and maintenance of the facilities.
The accessible cubicles can be opened with a Radar Key
Allotments
The Town Council provides allotments at Grange Fell and Yewbarrow Terrace which are currently tenanted.
We maintain a waiting list for those who would like a plot. Please get in touch if you think an allotment is for you!
Recreation Facilities on the Prom
There is a MUGA (Multi Use Games Area), skate park, tennis court and street workout equipment at the south end of the Prom (furthest from the railway station).
This is free to use.
The crazy golf and putting green are temporarily closed.
The Town Council and Westmorland and Furness Council are in discussion and hope that the facilities will re-open soon.
In the meantime, the Town Council continues to maintain the site.
Dogs are not permitted on the putting green grass because this is presently maintained as a recreation area for children.
