The Lido Gallery

The now-closed Lido at the south end of Grange Promenade, which was built in 1934, is now home to an outdoor display of stunning photographic images.

Grange Town Mayor Councillor Tricia Thomas instigated the project and created the outdoor photographic gallery.

Tricia saw the opportunity to use the hoardings on the Lido building to show a fantastic range of photographs, from nineteenth century cocklers on the Bay to images of Bay Search and Rescue’s latest rescue vehicles.

The 22 stunning images have been sponsored by local small businesses, individuals and community groups.

The Lido Gallery aims to celebrate the beauty of the town and enhance the outside of the Lido while it awaits its next incarnation.
