The Neighbourhood Plan has arrived!

The policies in the Draft Neighbourhood Plan are built from everything you’ve told us over the past two years about what you want for the future of Grange. We had to stick to planning-type matters - we couldn’t improve people’s parking habits! - but we’ve done our very best. When planning applications come forward in future, developers will be in no doubt what the residents of Grange and Kents Bank require of them and why.

To find out more, have a look at the full Draft Plan, or just read the bits you’re interested in (it even has a House Design Guide!).  Here is a Summary and the full Draft Plan. You can also browse paper copies of both from Monday 8 May to Sunday 18 June in Grange Library, the Information Centre in Victoria Hall, and Reception at Abbot Hall Hotel.  Look out around town for free copies of a Summary of the Plan, and a Feedback Form to give us your views.

You’re also invited to a Drop-In Display.  Ask members of the Steering Group questions about the policies you’re interested in and make your views known. Places and times below, everyone welcome.

Most importantly, tell us if you think anything needs changing.  You will be able to vote on it later in the year, but this is your last major opportunity to make changes, so tell us now before time runs out.

Your deadline for telling us is 9.00am on Monday 19 June 2017.  We look forward to your comments.

Best wishes,

Grange Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group
